You control a young hero tasked with stopping a demonic invasion, traveling across a world map and delving into multi-floor dungeons. Your main goal is to collect the scattered pieces of a sacred artifact to restore balance. The combat is turn-based, letting you choose between sword attacks, a bow for ranged enemies, or magical skills you learn along the way. Exploration happens screen by screen, with random encounters interrupting your progress through forests, caves, and towns. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be steep, especially in some of the later dungeons where resource management becomes crucial. Moving through its world feels like a methodical, sometimes grueling, test of your planning and patience.
