Renegade Game

Renegade on the Sega Master System is one of those old-school brawlers that feels like it should come with a warning label—your thumbs will hurt after a while. You start off punching your way through alley thugs, and before long, you're dodging knives and getting suplexed by leather-clad goons. The controls are simple (punch, kick, jump), but timing matters—mess up, and you'll eat pavement fast.
What I love about it is how raw it feels. No fancy combos, just street fights where every hit lands with a satisfying crunch. The first boss, this guy on a motorcycle, still gives me trouble if I’m not careful. And yeah, the graphics are blocky by today’s standards, but there’s something about the way the characters move that just works.
It’s short, brutal, and totally worth a play if you’re into retro beat ‘em ups. Just don’t expect to beat it on your first try—this game doesn’t pull punches.
