I picked up Razmoket, Les - Voyage Dans Le Temps for the Game Boy Color when it was new. It was a French release based on The Rugrats, developed by Software Creations and published by THQ. This was a time when licensed platformers were common, and this one tried to do something a little different by sending the babies on a time travel adventure.
You control the babies, switching between Tommy, Chuckie, and the others as you explore levels set in different historical periods. The main goal is to find scattered pieces of a time machine to get back home. The game plays screen by screen, with a lot of climbing and pushing objects to solve simple puzzles. You also collect baby bottles and pacifiers for extra lives. The pacing is slow, suited for younger players, and the challenge comes more from navigating the environment than from difficult enemies. It feels like a gentle, exploratory trip through a cartoon world.
