Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Ubisoft. It was a time when the GBA library was full of platformers, and this one served as a direct sequel to Rayman 3. You jump back into the fight against the Hoodlums, who have returned to cause more trouble across a series of interconnected worlds.

You control Rayman, and sometimes his friend Globox, running and jumping through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to rescue your captured friends by defeating the Hoodlum armies. The gameplay focuses on platforming, using Rayman's punch to attack enemies, and a new ability to throw explosive fists for solving puzzles. You also collect yellow lums to unlock later stages. The levels are often compact and screen by screen, requiring precise jumps and quick reactions. It can be quite challenging, with some later stages demanding perfect timing. The overall feel is fast and fluid, making it a solid action platformer for short bursts of play.
