Rastan (usa, Europe) Game

Okay, so Rastan looks like Conan, fights like Conan, and even has the same "barbarian who doesn’t need armor" vibe—but nope, he’s technically his own guy. This side-scroller on the Sega Master System throws you right into the thick of it: swinging a sword at lizardmen, dodging spike traps, and climbing ropes like some kind of muscle-bound acrobat. The controls are simple—jump, slash, repeat—but those jumps have to be precise, or you’ll be respawning faster than you can say "Crom."
Graphics are decent for the era, with some surprisingly moody backgrounds (that cave level actually feels damp, somehow). The music? Pure 80s synth fantasy—you’ll either love it or mute it after 10 minutes. Fair warning: it’s tough as nails, but in that satisfying "one more try" way. Just don’t expect a deep story—Rastan’s here to hit things, not recite poetry.
