Play Rampage : Puzzle Attack Online

Rampage: Puzzle Attack came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, published by Midway Games. It was part of that wave of puzzle games on the handheld, a different take on the monster smashing the Rampage series was known for. You would see it alongside other portable puzzle titles, a familiar concept but with its own twist.

You control one of three monsters, like George the gorilla or Lizzie the lizard, but instead of destroying buildings you are clearing colored blocks from a grid. The main goal is to remove all the blocks from each single screen puzzle before a timer runs out. You match three or more blocks of the same color by moving your character onto them, which causes them to vanish; special blocks, like bombs, can clear larger sections when you activate them. The game starts simply but the puzzles get more complex, demanding quick planning as the stages fill with more obstacles and less time. It feels like a frantic race against the clock, a constant push to see the board empty before it is too late.
