Rainbow Islands is that weird, colorful sequel to Bubble Bobble where you’re not blowing bubbles anymore—now you’re shooting rainbows. And yeah, it sounds cute, but those rainbows are deadly. You can either zap enemies with them or use them like temporary platforms to climb higher, which gets tricky fast when everything’s scrolling upward.

The Master System version holds up surprisingly well—bright colors, tight controls, and that same frantic energy as the original. The first few levels ease you in, but don’t get too comfortable. By the time you hit the third island, you’ll be juggling rainbows, dodging enemies, and praying you don’t miss a jump. It’s chaotic in the best way.
