Raiden Space Ship is one of those old-school shooters that just nails the simple-but-addictive formula. You're piloting a tiny ship against waves of enemies, dodging bullets while blasting everything in sight. The controls are dead simple—arrows to move, Z and X to fire—but don't let that fool you. Those bullet patterns get intense fast.

What I love is how chaotic it feels when the screen fills with explosions and neon laser fire. You start with a basic pea shooter, but grabbing power-ups changes everything. Suddenly you're shredding enemies with spread shots or homing missiles, and it just feels good. Classic arcade vibes, no fluff.

Fair warning though—this isn't some casual tap-to-win mobile game. You'll die. A lot. But that "one more try" hook is real. Raiden's been kicking players' butts since 1990, and it still holds up.
