R-Type on the Sega Master System was a port of the arcade shooter, brought to the console by Sega. You pilot the R-9 fighter, a small ship navigating horizontally scrolling levels filled with alien forces. Your main goal is to survive each stage and defeat the large boss waiting at the end.
