Pro Pool on Game Boy Color is way better than it has any right to be. The physics actually feel decent—none of that floaty, arcade-y nonsense. You get proper spin control, bank shots that behave like they should, and this weirdly satisfying "clack" when balls hit.

First thing you'll notice is how clean the table looks on that tiny screen. The isometric view works surprisingly well, though lining up diagonal shots takes some getting used to. I kept overshooting the power at first until I realized the vibration motor (yes, it has force feedback!) gives subtle cues.

There's a proper 8-ball mode, 9-ball, and even snooker if you're into that. CPU opponents start off laughably bad but ramp up fast—by match three they're pulling off ridiculous trick shots like it's nothing. Perfect for quick sessions when you just wanna sink some balls without the hassle of a real pool hall.

Still holds up as one of the best portable pool sims out there.
