Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on GBA is one of those rare handheld ports that actually nails the feel of the console version. You’ve got the same slick wall-runs, dagger-assisted jumps, and that sweet time-rewind trick when you mess up a leap. The story’s got this dry-wit prince narrating his own misadventures while sand monsters overrun the palace—classic Persian mythology with a twist.
First ten minutes? You’re already flipping past spinning blade traps, stabbing glowing hourglass symbols to unlock doors, and figuring out the rhythm of combat. The platforming’s tight, though some jumps feel brutal on that tiny screen. And yeah, you’ll absolutely spam the dagger’s rewind power after missing a ledge for the fifth time. Still holds up as one of the better action-adventure games on the system.
