Remember those old Game Boy Color platformers that felt like they were ripped straight from Saturday morning cartoons? Bad Mojo Jojo nails that vibe—you jump around Townsville as Blossom, Bubbles, or Buttercup, punching robots and dodging Mojo Jojo’s ridiculous traps. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, and the controls are simple (though Buttercup’s punch feels weirdly delayed at first).
It’s got that classic "defeat the boss, rescue the professor" setup, but the levels throw in little surprises—like one where you’re suddenly racing against a rising lava pit. Not gonna lie, the hit detection can be janky when enemies swarm you, but it’s short enough that the nostalgia outweighs the frustration. If you’ve got 20 minutes to kill and miss 2000s Cartoon Network, this one’s a time capsule.
