If you grew up watching Power Rangers: Time Force, this GBA game is basically a love letter to the show. You jump right into the action—pick your Ranger, morph into their suit (complete with that sweet transformation sequence), and start punching through waves of mutant goons. The pixel art nails the show’s aesthetic, and the combat’s simple but satisfying, with each Ranger having their own special moves.
What surprised me was how much it leans into the time-travel gimmick. One minute you’re fighting in a futuristic city, the next you’re brawling in some ancient temple. Boss fights against the show’s villains feel legit, especially when they pull off their signature attacks. It’s not the deepest beat-’em-up, but nailing a combo and finishing with a Mega Battle just feels right.
Honestly, half the fun is just seeing the little nods to the series—like how Jen’s dialogue is just as no-nonsense as in the show. If you’re even slightly into Power Rangers, this one’s a blast.
