About Power Rangers Pack (g)(rising Sun)
I picked up Power Rangers Pack (G)(Rising Sun) for the Game Boy Advance back when it was new. It was a 0 release, and I believe THQ was the publisher. This was during the GBA's peak, when licensed action games were common, and this one fit right in with that crowd.
You control the Power Rangers, switching between them to use their unique weapons and special attacks. The main goal is to fight through waves of Putty Patrollers and larger monsters, moving screen by screen in a side scrolling beat 'em up style. You collect power ups to refill health and boost your special meter, which lets you unleash more powerful moves. The pacing is fast, with enemies constantly swarming, and the difficulty can spike during boss fights. It feels like a straightforward arcade brawler that captures the simple energy of the show.
