Power Rangers: Dino Thunder on the GBA is exactly what you'd hope for—a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you punch, kick, and occasionally summon a giant robot dinosaur to wreck stuff. You pick your Ranger (I always went with the red one, obviously) and plow through waves of goons before facing off against some ridiculous monster-of-the-week boss.
The controls are simple—jump, attack, special moves—but there’s something satisfying about chaining combos together while your character yells "Dino Thunder, power up!" The Zord fights are clunky by today’s standards, but back then, transforming into a T-Rex and stomping buildings felt like the coolest thing ever.
It’s not deep, but it nails that early 2000s Power Rangers vibe. If you played this as a kid, you’ll grin at the pixelated morphing sequence. If not, it’s still a solid way to waste an afternoon pretending to save the world in spandex.
