Power Pro Kun Pocket 6 is one of those GBA baseball games that just feels right—like the devs actually played a few innings before coding it. You start off picking your team (I always go for the underdogs because where’s the fun in steamrolling everyone?), and within minutes you’re deep in a tight game, sweating over pitch selection and timing your swings just right.
The chunky pixel art somehow makes every hit satisfying, whether it’s a blooper single or a moonshot homer. And yeah, the AI actually puts up a fight—no lazy pop flies here. My first game ended with a walk-off bunt because I panicked in the bottom of the ninth. Classic.
There’s a tournament mode that’ll chew up an afternoon if you let it, plus you can tweak your lineup and train players between games. Just don’t expect MLB realism—this is arcade baseball with enough depth to keep you swinging. If you’ve got a GBA and even a passing interest in baseball, this one’s a no-brainer.
