Power Pro Kun Pocket 4 is basically the GBA's take on the classic baseball sim, but with that weirdly addictive Konami charm. You start off managing a team of little chibi players, and at first it feels simple—just swing, pitch, run—but then you realize there’s way more under the hood. The training system’s got this RPG-like grind where you balance stats, and somehow I always end up with a team full of weirdly specialized guys (one dude’s a monster at home runs but trips over his own feet in the outfield).
It’s the kind of game where you tell yourself "one more game" at 2 AM because your third baseman finally leveled up his catching. The menus are all in Japanese, but if you’ve played any Power Pros before, you’ll fumble through it just fine. Definitely the best portable version if you like your baseball with a side of ridiculous animations.
