I picked up Power Poke Dash when it came out for the Game Boy Advance. It was one of those games that arrived without much fanfare, but it caught my eye on the shelf. I don't recall the developer's name offhand, but it fit right in with the kind of quick, portable action games the GBA did so well during that period.

You control a small, round character who can perform a quick dash attack. Your main goal is to get through each single-screen level, clearing out all the enemies by ramming into them. The dash is your only real move; you charge it up and then launch yourself across the room. You have to be careful with your aim, because if you hit a wall you'll be stunned for a moment, leaving you open. The game moves fast and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding precise timing to avoid getting cornered. It feels frantic and satisfying when you clear a tricky room in one clean sweep.
