Polly Pocket! Super Splash Island on GBA is way more fun than I expected—it’s basically a tropical vacation in your hands. You start off with Polly and her crew jetting to this wild island, and right away you’re diving into mini-games like water balloon fights, treasure hunts, and even some light puzzle-solving. The colors pop like crazy on the GBA screen, and the whole thing has that same tiny, playful vibe as the actual Polly Pocket toys.
Some of the challenges are surprisingly tricky—I got stuck on the shell-matching game for way too long—but it never feels unfair. And yeah, it’s obviously aimed at younger players, but there’s a weirdly satisfying rhythm to hopping between the different activities. If you ever had a Polly Pocket as a kid, this’ll hit you right in the nostalgia. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the island theme music hours later.
