Pocket Pro Wrestling - Perfect Wrestler (japan) Game

Pocket Pro Wrestling on the Game Boy Color is one of those hidden gems that makes you wonder why it never got more attention. You pick from a roster of over-the-top wrestlers—some look like they stepped out of an 80s anime, others like they just raided a lucha libre costume shop. The controls are simple (d-pad and two buttons), but there's a surprising amount of depth once you figure out the timing for grapples and counters.
Matches feel fast and chaotic, with the crowd meter actually affecting the momentum. First time I played, I accidentally knocked the ref out cold with a stray chair shot and the match just... kept going. Classic. The pixel art holds up too—those exaggerated win animations never get old.
If you're into retro wrestling games, this one's got way more personality than it has any right to.
