Pocket Densha 2 is one of those weirdly addictive train sims from the Game Boy Color era—you’d think driving a commuter rail in pixelated Japan would get old fast, but there’s something hypnotic about nailing the stops just right. The controls are simple (just accelerate and brake), but timing arrivals so passengers don’t faceplant when you halt? That’s the real challenge.

It’s all in Japanese, but the icons are clear enough—you’ll figure out that flashing red means "slow down, dummy" after a few rough landings. The trains look surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, and the chiptune station jingles are weirdly cheerful. Just don’t expect any crazy derailments; this is strictly a by-the-book, on-schedule kind of sim.

Perfect for quick sessions when you want to zone out and pretend public transit always runs smoothly.
