Pocket Color Mahjong (japan) Game

Pocket Color Mahjong is one of those classic Game Boy Color titles that somehow makes tile-matching feel weirdly satisfying on a tiny screen. It's straight-up Japanese mahjong—none of that solitaire-style matching—so if you're used to Western versions, the rules might throw you at first. But once you get the hang of calling "pon" or waiting for that perfect "riichi" moment, it clicks.
The pixel art is simple but clean, and the AI actually puts up a decent fight. I lost way more hands than I'd like to admit before figuring out when to play defensively. Works surprisingly well on mobile too, though the tiny tiles make me wish I had younger eyes sometimes.
