Pocket Bowling (japan) Game

Pocket Bowling on Game Boy Color is exactly what it sounds like—a stripped-down, no-frills bowling game you can take anywhere. The physics feel surprisingly decent for an old handheld title, and I like how the lane tilts slightly when you move your bowler left or right. It’s got that classic GBC charm with chunky pixel animations when you nail a strike.
There’s not much to it—just pick your angle, power, and spin, then watch the pins fly. But sometimes that’s all you need. The Japanese version has these little victory jingles that somehow make rolling a 7-10 split feel less tragic. Perfect for quick sessions when you want to kill a few minutes.
You can play it in a browser now, but honestly, it hits different on an actual Game Boy’s tiny screen.
