I picked up Planet of the Apes for the Game Boy Color back in 2001, a time when licensed games were a common sight on the handheld. Ubi Soft published this one, and it was a completely different experience from the versions released on other consoles, with its own story and characters despite the familiar box art.

You control Ulysses, an astronaut who crash-lands on the ape-ruled planet, and your goal is to find your missing crew members.
