If you ever dreamed of running your own stable as a kid, this one’s for you. Pippa Funnell: Stable Adventure is basically horse girl simulator on the GBA—but way more fun than it sounds. You start off brushing and feeding your horse (weirdly satisfying), then quickly get thrown into jumping courses and competitions. The controls take a second to get used to—timing your jumps feels a little stiff at first—but once it clicks, you’re hooked.
What surprised me was how much actual stable management there is. You’re not just racing; you’re balancing training, grooming, and even buying gear. The pixelated horses have this weird charm, and the courses get legitimately tricky later on. Not gonna lie, I restarted a few events just to shave seconds off my time.
It’s definitely niche, but if you’ve got even a passing interest in horses, this game eats hours without you noticing. Just don’t blame me when you start eyeing real-life riding lessons.
