Pinobee: Wings of Adventure came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Artoon. It was part of that early wave of GBA titles, arriving when the handheld was still new and developers were figuring out what the system could do. You don't hear about it as much as some other platformers from that time, but it had a certain charm that made it stand out on its own.

You control Pinobee, a little bee-like robot, on a quest to find his creator. The main goal is to explore a series of interconnected, screen by screen areas, bouncing off walls and enemies to navigate. Your primary move is a simple jump, but you can charge it for extra height or perform a downward stomp. You collect pollen scattered throughout the levels, and finding special royal jelly items is key to progressing. The game moves at a brisk pace, though some of the platforming can be surprisingly precise, demanding good timing. It feels light and floaty, a bit like guiding a determined little toy through a colorful, slightly dangerous world.
