About Pinobee No Daibouken
Pinobee No Daibouken came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Artoon. It was part of that early wave of GBA titles, arriving when the handheld was still new and developers were exploring what the system could do. You don't hear about it too often, but it has its own little place from that time.
You control Pinobee, a bee-like robot, on a mission to rescue his creator. The game plays out screen by screen; you jump and hover through platforming challenges, collecting pollen to power up and defeat enemies. Your main goal is to find the four Royal Jelly pieces hidden across different worlds. The hovering is your main tool, letting you float for a bit to cross gaps or reposition yourself, and you can also perform a dash attack to break certain blocks and hit foes. The pacing is generally brisk, though some later stages can be tricky with their enemy placement and platform timing. It feels like a straightforward, light platformer that doesn't overcomplicate things.
