Remember that Disney Channel show Phil of the Future? Yeah, they made a GBA game out of it, and it's... actually not terrible for a licensed title. You play as Phil, running through these side-scrolling levels trying to fix his busted time machine while dodging robots and collecting futuristic gadgets. The pixel art nails the show's goofy vibe, and there's this one level where you ride a hoverboard that controls way better than it has any right to.

It's definitely aimed at younger players—some of the platforming is super forgiving—but there's a weird charm to how committed it is to being a 2000s time capsule. That Rising Sun version floating around has some extra costumes, which is neat if you're into that sort of thing. Just don't go in expecting Metroid-level depth and you'll have a decent time with it.
