Peter Pan : The Motion Picture Event Game

Okay, so Peter Pan: The Motion Picture Event on GBA is basically that classic Disney movie turned into a side-scroller—but with way more sword fights than I remembered. You start off flying over London as Peter, dodging chimney smoke (which, honestly, is harder than it sounds), before crashing into Neverland and immediately getting into pirate brawls.
The sprites are surprisingly bright and colorful for a GBA game, and Tinker Bell’s little sparkle effects when she helps you? Adorable. Captain Hook’s ship level is where things get fun—you’re jumping between ropes, dueling pirates, and trying not to get knocked into the water by his stupid hook. The Lost Boys pop up now and then to toss you health items, which is nice of them, because Hook’s crew does not play fair.
It’s not the deepest game ever, but if you’re into that early 2000s Disney vibe, it’s a solid way to kill an afternoon. Just don’t expect to grow up while playing it.
