Penguin Land is this weirdly charming little puzzle game on the Sega Master System where you play as a penguin trying to guide an egg down through these blocky, maze-like levels. You can crack certain blocks to clear a path, but if you break the wrong ones, the egg gets stuck—or worse, falls into a pit. Mess up and you’ll hear this sad little "peep" sound as your egg shatters.

The controls are simple, but some levels get surprisingly tricky. You’ll start off thinking it’s easy, then suddenly you’re staring at a screen full of blocks, trying to figure out which ones to break without trapping yourself. The spaceship at the bottom feels so far away sometimes. It’s one of those games where you’ll fail a level five times, take a deep breath, and finally nail it on the sixth try.
