Paws & Claws - Pet Resort is one of those weirdly addictive GBA sims where you run a little pet hotel. You start off with a basic setup—some kennels, a grooming station, and a couple of stressed-out customers dropping off their dogs and cats. The first time I played, I accidentally overfed a poodle and had to deal with a very unhappy owner. Lesson learned.

It’s got that early 2000s charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and way more depth than you’d expect. You’ll rotate between cleaning up messes (so many messes), playing mini-games to keep the pets happy, and upgrading your resort with fancier stuff like agility courses or luxury suites. The cats are weirdly picky about their toys, by the way.

Not gonna lie, it’s janky in places, but there’s something satisfying about watching your little pixelated business grow. If you ever wanted to run a chaotic pet daycare with zero real-world consequences, this is your game.
