Pac-man World (u)(venom) Game

Pac-Man World on the GBA is a weird little gem—it takes the classic dot-muncher and throws him into a 3D platformer, which sounds like it shouldn’t work, but somehow does. You’re still eating pellets, but now you’re also butt-bouncing ghosts, climbing vines, and bouncing off trampolines. The controls are surprisingly tight for a GBA game, though the camera angles can get a little janky in tight spaces.
First few minutes? You’ll be running through colorful, blocky worlds, dodging those familiar ghosts (they still turn blue when you grab a power pellet, don’t worry), and figuring out how to platform with Pac-Man’s weird little roll move. It’s not Mario, but it’s got charm—and the nostalgia hits hard when you hear those classic sound effects. The GBA’s tiny screen makes some jumps harder than they should be, but it’s still a fun twist on the formula.
Honestly, it’s one of those games that makes you go, “Huh, this is way better than I expected.”
