Play Classic Series : Pac-man Online

I first played Classic NES Series: Pac-Man on the Game Boy Advance, a port handled by Nintendo as part of their series of NES re-releases for the handheld. It was a straightforward conversion of the original arcade game, fitting right in with the other simple, pick-up-and-play titles available for the GBA during that era.

You control Pac-Man, a yellow circle with a mouth, navigating him through a single-screen maze filled with dots. Your main goal is to clear the stage by eating every dot while avoiding the four colored ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. The signature mechanics are eating Power Pellets to temporarily turn the tables and chase the ghosts for extra points, and navigating the side tunnels that warp you from one side of the screen to the other. The pacing is relentless; the ghosts quickly resume their pursuit after being vulnerable, and the stages get progressively faster and more difficult. It feels like a constant, tense calculation of risk and reward with every move you make.
