The main goal is to stop the evil Spooky and his gang from ruining Pac-Man's birthday, which involves collecting golden fruit in each level. Signature mechanics include the butt-bounce to smash certain objects and a pac-dot radar that helps you hunt down every last dot in an area. The pacing is generally brisk, though some later stages can be quite demanding with their platforming challenges.
