Play Ozzy & Drix Online

I picked up Ozzy & Drix for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a game developed by Nelvana Limited. It was a time when licensed games based on cartoons were everywhere, and this one was based on the animated series spun off from the movie Osmosis Jones. You don't see many games about a white blood cell cop and a cold pill fighting germs inside a human body, so it always stood out on the shelf.

In the game, you control both Ozzy, the tough leukocyte, and Drix, the logical pill, switching between them to solve puzzles and fight enemies. The main goal is to navigate the various systems of the body, like the arteries or the brain, to stop a villain's plot. You explore screen by screen, using Ozzy's fists for combat and Drix's electrical charges to stun foes or interact with the environment. A lot of the game involves backtracking to find keys or activate switches that open new paths, and the platforming can be quite precise, sometimes making the difficulty spike unexpectedly. Playing it feels like a straightforward, slightly clunky adventure that is entirely its own thing.
