Other Life - Azure Dreams GB is this weird little dungeon crawler with dating sim elements—yeah, you heard that right. You start off in this desert town, and your main gig is diving into a monster-filled tower that changes every time you enter. Die, and you lose everything except your monster buddies (if you managed to tame any).

At first, I thought it was just another roguelike, but then I realized you can also romance townsfolk between dungeon runs. The pixel art’s charming, and the monster fusion system is surprisingly deep—spent way too long trying to breed the perfect fire-breathing thing. It’s janky in that classic Game Boy Color way, but there’s something oddly addictive about it. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
