Othello Millennium is basically the Game Boy Color version of that classic black-and-white flipping tile game—you know, the one where you trap your opponent’s pieces between yours to turn them to your side. This one’s Japan-only, so the menus are in Japanese, but the gameplay’s so simple you don’t really need to read anything. Just pick a spot, watch the tiles flip, and try not to get cornered.
The AI’s decent—not too easy, not brutal—and the pixelated board has this weirdly satisfying chunky look to it. If you’ve ever played Othello before, you’ll feel right at home. If not, well, good luck figuring out why your perfect move just backfired.
