Oshare Princess Ex Primo Debut Monogatari & Renai Uranai Daisakusen (j)(caravan) Game

Okay, so Oshare Princess EX is one of those weirdly charming GBA games that never left Japan—it's half fashion sim, half romance game, and 100% early 2000s sparkle overload. You play as this princess trying to make it big in the fashion world while also juggling suitors (because of course). The dress-up mechanics are surprisingly deep—mixing goth and lolita styles actually changes how NPCs react to you, which I didn’t expect.
The romance part feels like a mix between a dating sim and a horoscope minigame (hence the "uranai" in the title). Some choices are hilariously dramatic, like picking between "mysterious rose perfume" or "strawberry cupcake body spray" to impress your crush. Dialogue is all in Japanese, but if you’ve played enough of these games, the icons and fashion stats make it weirdly playable even if you’re just guessing.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game you boot up when you want something unapologetically girly and nostalgic. The chibi sprites and glittery menus haven’t aged a day.
