Ohasuta Dance Dance Revolution GB came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, published by Konami. It was part of that wave of rhythm games trying to fit a cabinet experience into a pocket format. You had to supply your own music, since the Game Boy hardware couldn't handle the original soundtrack.

You control a cursor on a grid of arrows, tapping the D-pad in time with symbols scrolling up from the bottom of the screen. The main goal is to hit the arrows as they cross the target line, building up a score and keeping a combo going. The game uses the standard DDR step charts, but you play them by sight alone on the small, silent screen. It's a stripped-down, almost abstract version of the arcade game.
