Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Oddworld Inhabitants. This was a time when you could carry a whole 3D world in your pocket, and this game was part of that push, a conversion of the original Xbox title. You control two characters, Abe and Munch, switching between them to solve puzzles. Abe can possess enemies and chant to control them, while Munch, in his little wheelchair, can hack computers and use a sonar device to command other creatures. The main goal is to rescue your fellow creatures, the Fuzzles and Gabbits, from a grim fate at the hands of the Glukkons. You explore areas screen by screen, figuring out how to use each character's specific skills to get past obstacles and enemies. The game requires careful planning; you often need to position one character to create a path for the other. It can be tricky, with some puzzles demanding precise timing and a good memory for the environment. Playing it feels like you are managing a small, unconventional rescue team, where success depends on using their weird abilities together.
