Nicktoons Unite! came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by THQ. It was part of that wave of licensed games where different cartoon characters from the same network would meet up for an adventure. On the GBA, a system full of platformers and action titles, this one stood out simply by bringing together SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner, and Danny Phantom.

You control a team of four characters, switching between them on the fly to use their unique abilities. SpongeBob can blow bubbles to create platforms, Jimmy has a shrink ray for small passages, Timmy uses magic to turn enemies harmless, and Danny can fly over gaps. The main goal is to work through levels screen by screen, solving environmental puzzles and fighting cartoonish enemies. You collect items to progress, and the game often requires careful character swapping to get past obstacles. The pacing is steady, with some tricky spots that make you stop and think. It feels like a cooperative puzzle box, even when playing alone.
