Naruto Saikyou Ninja Daikessyu 2 is one of those early GBA Naruto fighters that feels rough around the edges but still has its charm. You pick from a small roster of characters—Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and a few others—and duke it out in 2D battles with some basic combos and special jutsu. The sprites are chunky but expressive, and landing a Rasengan or Chidori still feels satisfying even if the controls aren’t as tight as later Naruto games.
It’s definitely a product of its time—no fancy 3D arenas or huge move lists here. But if you’re into retro fighters or just want to see how the series started on handhelds, it’s a neat little time capsule. Just don’t expect Ultimate Ninja Storm levels of polish.
