About Nhl Hitz 20-03
NHL Hitz 20-03 on Game Boy Advance was a portable take on Midway's arcade hockey series. It arrived during a period when sports games on the handheld often had to make significant compromises compared to their console counterparts. This version, developed by the team at Midway, tried to capture the over-the-top spirit of the brand on the small screen.
You control a three-on-three hockey team, skating up and down the ice to score goals. The main objective is to win each match, either in a quick exhibition or through a full season. Signature mechanics include big body checks that send opponents flying and a turbo boost for quick bursts of speed. The game moves at a fast clip, and the simplified controls make it easy to pick up, though scoring can sometimes feel a bit repetitive.
