About Nhl 2002 (u)(venom)
NHL 2002 for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2001 from EA Sports. It was one of the few hockey titles on the handheld, arriving when portable sports games were still finding their footing. You got a condensed version of the NHL experience right in your hands.
You control a five man hockey team, skating up and down the ice to score goals. The main objective is to win each match, either in exhibition play or through a full season mode. Signature mechanics include one timer shots, manual goalie control for crucial saves, and a deking system to slip past defenders. The pacing is quick, with games that move fast but can feel challenging due to the small screen and simplified controls. It feels like a brisk, portable version of hockey where every shot matters.
