About Moto Gp
Moto GP came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, published by THQ. It was one of the early racing titles for the handheld, arriving when developers were still figuring out how to translate fast-paced 3D-style games onto the small screen. This was a time of experimentation, and Moto GP felt like a serious attempt to bring a specific kind of racing to your pocket.
You control a motorcycle racer, aiming to win a series of Grand Prix championships. The core of the game is managing your bike's lean into corners; you use the shoulder buttons to tilt your rider left or right, which feels more deliberate than just steering. You also have to watch your racing line and brake properly before tight turns to avoid sliding out. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty is unforgiving; a small mistake often sends you off the track, forcing a slow reset. It feels like a constant battle for control, a tense effort to keep your bike upright and on the racing line while pushing for the lead.
