You also collect and use a variety of PSI abilities, which are psychic powers for attacking and healing. The pacing is deliberate, with a strong emphasis on its unfolding story and character moments, and the difficulty can spike during certain boss fights. Playing it feels like guiding a group of vulnerable people through a world that is slowly, and sadly, falling apart.
