Moorhuhn 2 on Game Boy Color is basically the handheld version of that weirdly addictive chicken-shooting game everyone played on PCs back in the day. You’re still blasting pixelated birds out of the sky, but now it fits in your pocket—which is kind of hilarious when you think about it. The controls take a second to get used to (that tiny D-pad wasn’t made for precision aiming), but after a few rounds, you’ll be nailing those ridiculous flapping chickens mid-air. The colors are surprisingly decent for a GBC title, and the sound effects—especially the squawks—are weirdly satisfying. It’s not deep, but it’s stupid fun for short bursts. Just don’t expect it to hold up for hours.
