About Monster Truck Madness
Monster Truck Madness on Game Boy Advance came out in 2000, developed by Lucky Chicken Games and published by Rockstar Games. It was part of that wave of portable racing titles trying to capture some of the arcade-style fun of bigger console games. You got a selection of monster trucks and a bunch of off-road tracks to tear up.
You control a monster truck from a behind-the-vehicle perspective, racing against computer opponents on dirt and mud circuits. The main goal is straightforward: win races to unlock new trucks and tracks. The handling is intentionally loose, letting you slide around corners and bounce over rough terrain. Crashing into other trucks or flipping over is common, but the game resets you quickly. Races are short bursts of chaotic driving where maintaining control on bumpy ground is the real challenge. It feels like a messy, energetic scramble from start to finish.
