If you've ever wanted to feel the rumble of a monster truck under your thumbs, this GBA game gets weirdly close. You start by picking your beast—Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, or a few others—and then it's straight into smashing cars, launching off ramps, and trying not to flip over when you land awkwardly (which happens a lot).
The physics are hilariously over-the-top—bounce off a crushed sedan, spin mid-air, and somehow stick the landing for bonus points. There's something satisfying about the crunch of metal under those oversized tires, and the arenas have just enough obstacles to keep you from mindlessly flooring it the whole time. Not gonna lie, the controls take a minute to get used to, but once you figure out how to control your momentum, pulling off a backflip over a school bus feels stupidly rewarding.
It's not deep, but for quick bursts of chaotic truck action, it nails the vibe. Just don't expect to take it too seriously.
