Monster AG, Die is one of those weird little Game Boy Color games that slipped under the radar—especially outside Germany. It’s got this quirky mix of monster collecting and turn-based battles, but with a distinctly European flavor. The sprites are chunky and colorful, and the whole thing feels like someone took Pokémon and gave it a rough-around-the-edges Euro RPG twist.

First few minutes? You’re thrown into a small town with some basic monsters to catch, and the battles are simple but satisfying.
